Lunch with a Leader is Saigon Young Professionals' intimate monthly mentorship series, created to give ambitious professionals access to leaders who have built real businesses in complex, high-stakes environments. Each session brings together a curated group of just nine participants for a private lunch and open conversation with one experienced operator. No stage, no mic, just honest conversation over great food. This month's guest mentor is Ben Aissa, Founder & CEO of Tiger Financial. Ben is a serial fintech founder with more than 20 years of experience building and exiting companies across the United States, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. A former record-setting international swimmer, he holds nine U.S. patents and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. His experience includes founding EPAY Systems in Chicago and scaling it to a private equity exit and later acquisition by PrismHR; building QPAY into Qatar's leading fintech before its acquisition by Qatar Islamic Bank in 2022; and taking Tiger Financial public with its TSX listing in October 2026. Today, through Tiger Financial and its Vietnamese subsidiary Vietpay, Ben is building digital payments, banking and lending solutions for small businesses across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
